Our Spoken INK special guest for March 10



Spoken INK welcomes author Trisha Cull at 8:00 p.m., Thursday March 10th, at Wings Pub & Grill, 6879 Kingsway, Burnaby (NW side of Kingsway @ Griffiths Drive). Open Mic to follow.


Trisha Cull is a graduate of the University of British Columbia’s MFA Creative Writing program. Her work has been published in Room of One’s Own, Descant, subTerrain, Geist, The New Quarterly, The Dalhousie Review and PRISM. She was the winner of Lichen’s “Tracking a Serial Poet” contest in 2006, PRISM’s Award for Literary Non-fiction in 2007, and was also the winner of the Prairie Fire's Bliss 2007 Carman Poetry Award. She will be reading from her 2015 memoir, The Death of Small Creatures. Trisha  lives in Victoria, B.C.

Burnaby Writers' Society/Spoken INK 8:00 PM -- 2nd Thursday of the Month
@ Wings Pub & Grill 6879 Kingsway, Burnaby 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.
A Burnaby Writers' Society workshop session begins at 7 p.m., followed by the Spoken INK reading and Open Mic at 8 p.m.
