Our judge, BC poet Peter Trower, was born in St. Leonard's on Sea, England in 1930. He came to Canada in 1940, worked for 22 years as a logger and has been writing professionally since 1971. He has many novels, poetry books and articles to his credit and was the subject of at least one CBC documentary
