Chelsea Comeau is a freelance writer and editor whose work has appeared in the Maynard, CV2, and Room magazines. In April 2017 she was the artist in residence at the Anvil Centre. She was the 2017 first prize winner of the Glass Buffalo Poetry Prize, and is currently the poetry editor of WordWorks magazine
Lara Varesi is the president of Burnaby Writers' Society, and co-ordinates Spoken INK. She has read at many events including Mashed Poetics, Poetry New West, Poetry in the Park, as well as hosting various readings. Lara has been published in the RCLAS Anthology 2014, and has been working on a poetry manuscript for publication.
On the same night at the Gallery: Burnaby Writers’ Society Annual General Meeting (6:30 to 7:00 p.m.) followed by a Critiquing Workshop (7:00-7:45 pm)
