Our Fall 2016 season

A note from our President, Lara Varesi:

 We’re excited for the year ahead. Spoken INK will be returning to Wings on Kingsway on the 3rd Tuesday of the month , September 20, from 8-9:30 and we look forward to featuring great writing.

After September we will continue to host our monthly workshops on the 2nd Thursday but this month we will hold our first one on Friday, September 9th from 7:15-8:30 at Tommy Douglas Library. We will keep you updated. Hope to see you at all our events!

Spoken INK welcomes authors Mary Duffy and Natasha Boškić at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20^th, at Wings Pub & Grill, 6879 Kingsway, Burnaby (NW side of Kingsway @ Griffiths Drive). 

Mary Duffy is a transplant from the east to the west coast. She works as a librarian, and is a board member and active participant with Pandora’s Collective. Her poetry has been published in various journals and anthologies including Quills, Leafpress, Blueprint Review, The Return of the Downtown Eastside Poets, The Soul of Vancouver and online at The Globe and Mail.

Natasha Boškić lives in Vancouver, B.C. Her work has been published in ditch, Timeless Voices - American anthology of contemporary poetry, Quills, Alive at the Center – Contemporary Poems from the Pacific NorthWest anthology, Allegro Poetry, Visual Verse and other places. She is a member of Pandora’s Collectives Board of Directors. She works at UBC.
