Congratulations to BWS members Shawn Gale  and Gloria Barkley, whose  books have been shortlisted  for the 2016 Whistler Independent Book Awards. Shawn is nominated for his collection The Stories That Make Us, while Gloria has been shortlisted for her poetry collection Water Window Mirror.
