BWS is excited to present our upcoming workshop

Whittle the Bones: Editing Workshop
With Chelsea Comeau

Burnaby Writers' Society invites you to a special workshop on Monday, October 26, at 7 p.m. Please join us at the Tommy Douglas Library in Burnaby when Chelsea Comeau shares her editing expertise. Chelsea is an accomplished writer who will lead participants to learn new editing skills and present their work for feedback. Those who wish to attend with prose please limit it to one page double-spaced.

This will be a creative and informative workshop that will help any writer look at their work in new ways with an experienced facilitator. The workshop is free to BWS members, and $5 for non-members. We hope to see you there.

Chelsea Comeau is a freelance writer and editor whose work has appeared in Quills and CV2.  In 2011, Amber Tamblyn chose her piece as the winning entry in the BUST magazine poetry contest. In 2014 Chelsea attended Writing with Style at the Banff Centre with Lorna Crozier, and in 2015 she won the Canadian prize in the Leaf Press Overleaf chapbook contest.

Monday, October 26    7:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m.
