Our September guest readers at Spoken INK

We're pleased to announce that on Tuesday, September 17 our guest readers will be Trace Wilson, Jude Neale and Bill Arnott.

Trace Wilson backpacked across seven continents before beginning her poetry odyssey. Her work has been published in Geist, Emerge, The Liar and Ink&Nebula. In 2018 two of her poems were shortlisted for the Dorothy Livesay Memorial Award.

Vancouver author, poet and songwriter Bill Arnott is the best selling author of Dromomania and Gone Viking. His poetry, articles and reviews are published in the US, UK, Europe and Asia, with a 2019 poetry prize from Pandora's Collective.

Jude Neale is a Canadian poet, vocalist, spoken word performer and mentor. Her book A Quiet Coming of Light: A Poetic Memoir (Leaf Press) was a finalist for the 2015 Pat Lowther Memorial Award. Her book A Blooming was published by Ekstasis Editions in May 2019, and We Sing Ourselves Back in June.

Spoken INK is a reading series presented by the Burnaby Writers Society on the 3rd Tuesday of the month (except July and August), at the Burnaby Arts Council's Deer Lake Gallery, 6584 Deer Lake Avenue, Burnaby.  For more information contact bwscafe@gmail.com
