SPOKEN INK PRESENTS:


Elee Kraljii Gardiner directs Thursdays Writing Collective. She is the editor and publisher of seven anthologies from The Collective and the co-editor with John Asfour of V6A: Writing from Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (Arsenal Pulp Press, 2012).  serpentine loop (Anvil Press, 2016) is her first book of poetry. Chelene Knight is currently the Managing Editor and the Poetry Submissions Coordinator at Room Magazine. She has been writing poetry and short stories in secret since she was a child. Her work is
deeply rooted in her experiences of mixed ethnicity. Braided Skin,her first book (Mother Tongue Publishing, March 2015), has given birth to numerous writing projects. Chelene stands strong in her

Spoken INK is a reading series presented by the Burnaby Writers' Society on the second Thursday of each month (except July and August).  @ 8:00 p.m. Wings Pub & Grill, 6879 Kingsway, Burnaby
